I made these sets of skis with the larger paint (5 gallon) stir sticks you can get at Lowes. I cut off the handles and cut the ends into a peak with miter shears. Then I used my hand sander to round off the edges. I painted them a solid color and then used painters tape to paint the stripes. I then used wood glue to glue them together to be shelf leaners and added some embellishments. You could add a hanger also so they could hang on a door
