Single ply yarn

Two or more single yarns are twisted together to form a yarn. No matter how many plies there are, the thickness of a yarn depends on its individual thickness.

This single ply yarn was spun from 100% bamboo fiber that was hand dyed by FiberLady, here on etsy. Her Sea Foam colorway is a blend of creamy foam through pale blues into a sea blue. This yarn has the sheen of silk and the easy care of cotton. Bamboo is cool in hot weather, quickly absorbs moisture, naturally renewable, bactericidal and has the most incredible sheen and softness.
