Spiced Milk Recipe Ingredients 4 green cardamom pods, crushed 4 cloves 1/2 tsp. black peppercorns 1 cinnamon stick Pinch of ground nutmeg 1 inch fresh ginger, thinly slivered 3 cups whole milk 1 tbsp. packed brown sugar Directions Toast Spices: In a medium pot over medium-low heat, toast the cardamom, cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute. Ayurvedic Bed Time Drink.  Add Milk and Sugar: Slowly stir in the milk and sugar, and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and continue simmering for 10 minutes. Serve: Serve while hot, or allow the spices to continue steeping as the milk cools for a more intense flavour. Alternatively, serve chilled or over ice. This warm spiced milk is a comforting drink perfect for relaxation before bedtime.
