BARNACLE WALL PLAQUE, Barnacle Clay Wall Plaque, Clay Barnacles, Barnacle Sculpture, Ceramic Barnacle Sculpture, Ceramic and Wood Plaque

I call these WAll PLAQUES. I start by cutting a relatively thick slab of clay that I texture, draw into, then attach hand-made ceramic underwater barnacles that I've made. After it has been constructed and fired twice in the kiln, the plaque is glued onto a wood board that is painted and textured with blue paint, to represent water, then wired on the back for hanging. My sculptures have a unique look since each one is made individually by me. It measures 10' tall x 8" wide and 3" deep.
