Java Setup (Prerequisite)

DataPallas requires Java 17 or higher. Follow these installation steps only if Java is not already installed on your computer.

  1. Run as Administrator

Right-click DataPallas.exe and choose "Run as Administrator" from the Windows context menu.

  2. DataPallas automatically detects missing Java and offers installation

Burst & Email a Sample Report - Payslips.pdf

DataPallas includes a sample three-page samples/Payslips.pdf document (in the samples folder). When you burst this report, DataPallas generates one output file for each employee found in it — and can email every file straight to that person:

Please check/click the samples/Payslips.pdf report to see how the burst tokens are defined like email addresses delimited by curly brackets, { and }

  1. Launch DataPallas

  2. Select Your Document

  3. Let's go with Payslips.pdf sample report

Here we demonstrate with monthly payslips, but the exact same workflow works just as well for invoices, financial statements, or any recurring document type.

  4. Start Processing

  6. Review Results

This example generated three output files—one for each employee—named after their email address (configurable).

The same workflow works perfectly for invoices, financial statements, or any other document type, and can handle thousands of individual payslips, invoices, or reports for your customers and partners.

More Ideas

Almost every business leader says the same thing: "our business data is our most important asset." So ask them — then why send that data to the cloud just to get a few dashboards back? The honest answer is usually "because there's no good BI platform you can easily self-host — the best ones are all cloud-only."

Fair enough — until DataPallas.

DataPallas is lightweight, modern BI and document automation — not a bulky legacy reporting suite to install and maintain.

  • Modern embedded dashboards and analytics — build interactive dashboards and explore your data directly.
  • Own it, host it, run it yourself — your business data never leaves your servers just to get a few dashboards.
  • End-to-end automation — go from the database straight to documents that are generated and delivered to your customers. Build your own customer portal, send documents, and accept payments.

Here are a few screenshots showing how DataPallas helps you do all of this.
