I am from North Carolina, USA and am a recent Masters graduate from UNC-Charlotte with a focus in Geography. I also have two undergrad degrees in German and Geography. I have lived and studied in Europe twice and greatly enjoy traveling. I love film, especially European and Asian film. I strongly recommend you to find those movies somehow! (down here, unfortunately, we don't have netflix at all, so I always have to find other ways).
There's plenty of other interesting works, I'm also a big fan of asian cinema in general, so that won't be the only list on about the topic, that's for sure! I was just checking your list about japanese movies, I see there's no movie by Shinya Tsukamoto (I didn't notice any Johnnie To neither, but I see him tween ur fav directors according to listal), I don't know if you know him but, if you don't, I also recommend to check him out, he did some very interesting movies...
