Apple Cranberry Crumble Pie
This is my apple cranberry crumble pie. Underneath a delicious brown sugar and oat crumble topping you’ll find layers of sweet spiced apples and juicy tart cranberries… all atop a perfectly buttery and flaky pie crust. You can use fresh or frozen cranberries in this pie recipe. It would be a great addition to the Thanksgiving dessert table. Enjoy!

Maxy Maligisa on Instagram: "Make the most delicious Apple pie ‘Äppelpaj’ INGREDIENTS For the apple filling: 6 apples, peeled and diced 4 Tablespoons sugar of your choice 1/4 Teaspoon ground cardamom 2 Teaspoons ground cinnamon 2 Teaspoons corn flour 1 Tablespoon butter (optional) For the topping: 120g Plain flour 120g Oats 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder 130g Sugar Pinch of salt 180g Unsalted butter, melted 1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla bean paste/extract 50ml Golden Syrup METHOD 1. Preheat over to 180C Fan 2. Begin by melting the butter. Once melted, set aside and allow to cool 3. Combine all the ingredients for the apple filling in a medium saucepan and place over a medium-heat. Cook for approximately 10mins or so until the apples are slightly softened 4.
