As a woman it's so hard not to jump on the ego bandwagon and post pretty pictures of myself all over social media, especially when I see others doing it. My flesh wants validation from others, but God's Spirit says, "You are good because I live within you." I don't need the world's applause and compliments when I have God's. Fighting the flesh is hard and I'm not always successful, but I feel more at peace when I choose God.

God’s calling on your life isn’t a conference call! Stop waiting for validation from people who weren’t in the room when God gave you the vision.
