I must buy a cage that needs little to no modification as I have no one to make me one. Also, I want to put a squirrel box inside of this cage. Which companies have one? I have a cat enclosure, but that won't work. Hammy got out of it today and I almost had a heart attack. I'm going to put his new cage on our deck to slowly acclimate him. I'm not too concerned about cost. I just want the safest. Thank you!!!

Photographs of the pest-resistant cage I built in my back yard. Before the cage, birds and squirrels ate all of my blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, tomatoes, and sweet corn. It worked great except that yields were low due to increasing shade over the years. So I’ve converted it into a chicken run.

Covered for the winter with corrugated fiberglass panels. It's dryest up near the top and a couple of the cats like to hang out there and watch the rain. You can see that shelves and perches have been added -- blankets, pads and the hammock have been taken inside till spring.
