This original oil painting, titled "Sweet Cherries," captures the vibrant and juicy essence of fresh fruit. Measuring 5.1 x 7.1 inches (13x18 cm) and crafted with oil paints on hardboard, each piece in this series embodies the brightness and freshness of fruit. The artwork aims to evoke the sensation of being in a fragrant garden, surrounded by the enticing aroma of ripe fruits, as if they have just been plucked from the branch.

I decided to give it a try and make a scene based on a still life reference. My goal was to recreate a shot as close as possible + keep a reasonable polycount. For sure, this project levelled up my texturing skills. Overall I'm happy with the result but, still, there is a space to grow. Feedbacks, as always, are welcomed :). The table surface was taken from Quixel.
