Last month my in-laws, aka Mom & Dad, were handed down a beautiful curio cabinet. In order to put that gorgeous piece in their dining room, they needed to retire their faux money tree. Lucky for me, before taking anything to Put & Take, they usually ask me if I could find any use for their retired items. Seeing that with a little modification it could turn into a cool Halloween prop, I gladly took it, and that is how the story of "The Halloween Tree" started...

I got bit by the Halloween bug big time this year! I strung up orange lights, put out spooky decorations, and then felt the front entrance needed to make a more festive statement. This sudden urge to decorate led me down a creative path to make my own Halloween bat trees!
