My first bouquets were barely pushing pretty-pretty. Mainly because I learned from the You Tube. My roses weren’t fully open, flower diversity was so-so, and the shape looked like my bouquet had been squeezed through my sweater sleeve. This changed while on a business trip to New York. Why? Dahlias and ranunculus shine in summer and spring, respectively and the other five are supporting flowers that I come back to constantly in bouquet design! Plus they’re all prolific bloomers, and from a business standpoint: profitable. If you lived in a warmer climate, I would swap out celosia for the snapdragons.. celosia just does better in hotter weather than what I get! 

Thankfully I’m not just limited to those seven though… 😅 and my fields attest to that fact. But this would be my starting point if I was starting from scratch!
