Foxglove include about 19 species of erect or mounding biennial or perennial herbs with nodding or bell-shaped flowers that bloom in summer.

Common foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is a colorful, tall biennial for the rear of the garden. But use caution, as it is a seriously toxic plant.

Digitalis ferruginea, rusty orange, but look closer and you’ll see the delicate veining to the petals and flowers like little bronze helmets. 2.
