Yesterday while on my jaunt through the woods, I found the queen mother of all acorn caps. I've only seen one or two of these, ever, and they've always been broken apart (presumably by smart squirrels). Well, I finally found a cap that was in tact and made up an acorn for it. For reference, the other is a normal sized acorn. The big guy is a bit over and inch wide. Now that's a feastie for a squirrely beastie.
