My first fire with Honey Flux. I’m in love with this glaze! Thanks to everyone in this group for posting your honey flux glaze combinations! This piece has 3 x Honey flux all over, covered with 3 x Blue Rutile from rim on top 1/3, with Chun Plum below it, overlapping the Blue Rutile about 1.” It was fired to cone 5, no hold on B-mix 5.

Glazed with Amaco Honey Flux under Tourmaline.

All espresso ☕️ As promised, the espresso cups from my glaze experiments side by side. Simple to make and great as gifts, I prefer them to test tiles. Sometimes I find that test tiles, being so small, don’t fully represent the potential of the glazes. I have seen glaze characteristics on pieces that are missing on their respective test tiles, though both were fired in similar conditions.
