Martinmas might be over now, but lantern season has only just begun 💁‍♀️. These miniature Waldorf lanterns take less than 5 minutes each to make and make for SUCH cute Christmas ornaments OR they can be turned into a sweet string of lights. Directions: 1. Use a sheet of watercolor paper and a pencil to create small sheets of watercolor paper that fit snuggly around LED tea lights. 2. Wrap the sheets around the LED tea lights and connect the edges with hot glue. Also add a drop of hot glue to the side of the LED tea light to hold the electric candle in place. 3. Trim the lantern(s) with scissors and add a golden Waldorf Lantern, Watercolor Lantern, Cute Christmas Ornaments, String Of Lights, Paper Candle, Waldorf Crafts, Electric Candle, Craft Lights, Led Tea Lights

Please note that this craft ONLY works with flameless LED candles. Begin with a dried watercolor painting. Cut out a rectangle according to the dimensions shown above (12.5x7 cm). Leave some room for hot glue. Next, brush the inner rectangle with vegetable oil to make the paper translucent. Let dry. Use a hot glue gun to attach an LED tea light to the bottom part of the lantern. Roll up and glue the edges together. Use Mod Podge to adhere tiny leaves to the outside of the lantern. Let dry. Use a hole punch and string to suspend the lantern from a wooden dowel.
