I highly recommend buying the ingredients from a Chinese grocery store. Even the smallest market will stock all of these basics, and the cost will be a tiny fraction of what you'll pay elsewhere. You'll also be able to gather everything from one or two aisles, instead of hunting down each ingredient individually. I've linked sample photos to each ingredient.
