How to make artificial flower bouquets (nerdery optional)

One of my favorite details from my wedding was the fire & ice flower bouquets, inspired by Mario Bros. I can't claim originality on this one; the Weddingplans Livejournal community was one of my favorite sources of inspiration when I was planning, and the best idea that came out of that was raelja's fireflower bouquet! I bought the pipe connectors from @homedepot for less than $8. Pipe connectors can be pretty pricy but I grab these outside in their lumber department and they were so much cheaper. I spray painted everything with meadow green spray paint. I bought these images off of @etsy and I used @canva to create a poster image out of them.
