SLIM KITCHEN + ISLAND 🏝️ In an ideal world, we’d have extended the kitchen area out so we could have had a big 1.5m deep island and lots of seating. The reality is that that would have been way too expensive especially as we would have needed piling. We fitted a slim (0.7m deep) island, with no seating but it houses our dishwasher, wine cooler, the sink with storage, and a set of drawers. It doesn’t feel too tight and there’s enough room for us both to cook 👩🏾🍳
