We’ve finished up in the powder room (if you didn’t see that yet, you should!) and now it’s time to bring some life back into the living room!

This was originally the sitting room of our century home but it is our living room and it’s a little thrown together. So the very first part of this makeover that I wanted to do was make this room feel its full height, which is 10 ft tall. I decided to do that by adding built-in bookshelves to either side of the original fireplace!

This is my first time attempting this and I was happy with the progress I made in the first two days so make sure to come back to see how it turns out ✨
