Spring tulips: start with a large pot 28 in wide deep pot. Pre chill (see instructions when you purchase your bulbs) your tulips if you live in zone 8-10. Prepare your pot by filling half way with potting soil. Place 20-25 bulbs in the first layer mixing colors. Add 3-4 inches of potting soil to create a second layer with another 20-25 bulbs. Top it with another 3-4 inches of potting soil. Finally top off the pot with bedding plants of a contrasting color. I used violas. Enjoy!!!
