End grain flooring is a unique type of wood tile flooring. Traditional wood flooring is made of planks or block sawn lengthwise. The end grain flooring on the other hand is made of wooden blocks sawn crosswise to the grain. Onto the surface are plainly visible the annual rings of the tree. For this reason such wooden floors are unique and special. #WoodFloorsLondon #interiordesign #FinWood #CraftedForLife #WoodFloorDesign #EndGrainFlooring #endgrain #endgrainwoodenfloor #endgrainwood Wood Floor Design Ideas, Wood End Flooring, 2x4 Ends Flooring, Creative Wood Floors, End Grain Wood Flooring, End Grain Flooring Diy, Wood Block Floor, Wood Brick Floor, Burned Plywood Flooring

Sandblasted 2 x 4 and brick floor - awesome photos step by step! 1900 Farmhouse: March 2011 Brick Floor Kitchen, 1900 Farmhouse, Brick Floor, Brick Flooring, Best Flooring, Wood Flooring, Floor Design, Design Case, Kitchen Flooring

Three coats of polyurethane, and I gots me some floor shine.... The title of this post is not completely true because I still need to add epoxy to the larger gaps and knot hole openings to avoid a food catch-all. I tried Clear Coat epoxy but it was so viscous that it just disappeared into the sub floor. I need to either find an epoxy thickener or a pre-caulk method to contain the epoxy. Suggestions anyone?

When we were hunting for a affordable flooring solutions for the Laboratory, we came across a wood floor we had never seen before in a store in Soho: it was made from tiles cut across the grain of hard wood beams: end cuts placed in a grid to make an unexpectedly beautiful pattern. The lighting in the store was so poor that our snapshots were too vague to publish. Recently, we came across some fine images of what we now know to be Log End or End Grain flooring, and info about how to do it…
