Puh, time is flying! But I had some time to create a layout for some challenges.
First of all, I used the challenge from CSI-color-stories-inspiration:

And I wanted to try the challenge of scrap our stash with their golden globe challenge:

I used these items: F- food
                               A- arrow
                               T- turquoise
                               H - hearts
                               E - enamel dots
                               R - rhinestones

And - last but not least - I used the sketch from Sketches in Thyme #330:

And this is my layout: 

I love how the white title turned out in front of the pink and turquoise splatters!

Eine neue Challenge bei challenge up your life ist online! Das Thema heute: Geschenkverpackung

A new challenge at challenge up your life is online! We want to see gift wraps!


Auch wenn das Thema Geschenkverpackung ist, konnte ich es nicht lassen, ein Layout dazu zu machen! Ich habe einfach Fotos verwendet, auf denen meine Tochter kleine Geschenkschachteln bastelt. :-)
Hierzu habe ich den Sketch von Sketch N Scrap verwendet: 

Ok, the assignment is "gift wrap", but I wanted to do a layout. So I decided to use some photos of my daughter where she created some gift wraps. :-)
For my layout I used the sketch from Sketch N Scrap:

Und das ist nun das Layout. Ich habe dieses farbenfrohe Konfettipapier von Doodlebug design als Hintergrund gewählt, das ich auf einen hellrosa Cardstock genäht habe.

Für den Text habe ich verschiedene Buchstabenaufkleber verwendet:

A new fun challgen at The studio challenges is online! 
Today we have a partner challenge with stick it down for you!

I created a double layout with some photos of my daughters jazz dance show last year. They acted the story of "wizard of oz". I used the title of the well-known song "over the rainbow" and a verse of the songtext.

Today, I created a layout for the actual challenge of CSI - color stories inspiration:

And I used the single page sketch from Stick it down:

I created a layout with some photos of our holidays last year. We had a really cool tent with everything in it you need.
I cut out the words with my cameo and backed the letters with kraft paper and cardstock.

Last but not least I finished the last layout for the Sketches in Thyme line:

And I decided, to solve the challenge of off the rails scrapbooking. They have a colorful moodboard this month:

First I created a colorful background paper: I used a stencil from scrapmatts and transparent texture paste. When the circles were dry, I created the colorful stripes: I stick some post-it papers onto the cardstock and colored line by line with distress oxides and a blending tool. 

And this is the finished layout. I love how it turned out with all the bright colors!

Stuck?! Sketches: cool in the pool

Today, I'm sharing a layout, that I created for Stuck?! Sketches as a Guest-Designer. 

This is the sketch for july:

And this is my layout: 

I took a blue paper with blue dots as my background. I had a "cool" cut file from the cut shoppe with these stripes. With my studio-programme I edited the word and put away the outlines. Then I cutted the stripes with my cameo and backed them with pink paper. The word "pool" is a cutfile from the silhouette store. The photos are backed with blue and pink scraps. Behind them, I smudged some white gesso and splattered some pink and blue color. At least, I did some decorations with ephemera, stamps, twine and washi-tape.

Inline Skaten

Hallo! Heute habe ich mich von Missy Whidden inspirieren lassen. Sie arbeitet gerne mit Texten als beherrschendes Element eines Layouts. Auch ich habe mir einen schönen, passenden Spruch auf pinterest gesucht und diesen mit meiner Cameo aus verschiedenfarbigem Cardstock ausgeschnitten. Die Buchstaben sind von  #thecutshoppe. Da es keine Schriftart ist, sondern eine Datei mit allen Buchstaben von A-Z, habe ich die Worte einzeln zusammen gesetzt und in eine separate Datei kopiert. Dann habe ich verschiedene Cardstock-Reste auf meine Schneidematte gelegt und die Buchstaben willkürlich verteilt. Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich die Buchstaben auf meinem Layout wieder zu Worten zusammen gesetzt.  Hinter den Fotos habe ich noch etwas Farbe gekleckert  noch ein paar Blumen mit Print&Cut erstellt. Viel Deko braucht so ein buntes Layout ohnehin nicht mehr. ;-)  Und ich muss sagen, es gefällt mir richtig gut! Ich glaube, das mit den Texten als Gestaltungselement, mache ich jetzt öfters. Es ist zwar etwas aufwändig, aber es lohnt sich!

Little Mermaid

Dieses Layout ist mal wieder aus meinem privaten Fotoalbum. Meine Tochter hatte sich ein Meerjungfrauenkostüm von einer Freundin ausgeliehen und war sehr stolz darauf. Ich habe weißen Cardstock mit Gesso grundiert. Dann habe ich mit Distress Paint in türkis und hellblau Farbe auf einen Acryplatte getupft. Vor vielen vielen Jahren hatte ich mal ein Linoleumschnittset. Mit der Rolle aus diesem Set (gibt es aber z.B. auch bei Scrapbook Forever zu kaufen) habe ich die Farbe auf dem Layout verteilt. Die Fotos habe ich mit Papierresten gemattet. Die Schrift "Mermaid" ist mit der Cameo geschnitten und mit Papierresten hinterlegt. Das Label "love" habe ich mit Print & Cut mit der Cameo gemacht. Leider funktioniert das Cut nicht richtig. Deshalb schneide ich das Ganze mit der Pixscan-Matte aus. Geht auch. Noch ein bisschen Masking Tape und Deko und fertig! 

 Eine Detailansicht der Dekoration. Die Klebebuchstaben habe ich mit schwarzem Stift umrahmt, damit das türkis auf dem Hintergrund nicht unter geht. 

Gefallen euch die Wort-Sticker auch so gut? Ich finde sie toll, aber ich finde sie meist auch recht teuer und oft sind nicht die passenden Worte oder Sätze dabei. Und auf Deutsch sind sie in der Regel auch nicht zu finden. 

Nun habe ich mir eben selbst meine eigenen Wort-Sticker gemacht: Ich habe Worte und Sätze gesammelt, die mir gefallen haben und in einem Word-Dokument aufgeschrieben. Zwischen den Worten / Sätzen habe ich immer 4 Leerzeichen gesetzt. Nun habe ich mir eine Schriftart ausgesucht, die mir gefallen hat und das ganze auf Etikettenpapier ausgedruckt. Es gibt Etikettenaufkleberpapier, das nicht schon in Rechtecke zerschnitten ist. Also ein selbstklebendes DIN A 4 Blatt. Damit die Sticker etwas dicker sind, habe ich das ausgedruckte Papier nochmal auf ein weiteres Stickerpapier geklebt. Um sie jetzt schön abziehen zu können, habe ich mit dem Skalpell die Sticker angeritzt. Immer schön aufpassen, dass man das Trägerpapier nicht mit durch schneidet. Geht aber ganz gut!
