Components

Components are smaller items that build into larger, more powerful "parent" items, creating upgrade trees. When you purchase an upgraded item, the shop automatically deducts the cost of any components you already own. This process consumes the component, forcing you to choose which upgrade path to follow.

For example, you can purchase Extra Spirit for  800. From there, you have a choice:

• You can upgrade it into Improved Spirit for an additional  800 (total cost  1600).
• Alternatively, you could use it to build Surge of Power for an additional  2400 (total cost  3200).

However, once you upgrade to Improved Spirit, your Extra Spirit is consumed. To then purchase Surge of Power, you would need to pay its full  3200 price, as you no longer own the required component.
