i've been looking into dermestid beetles lately, not bcuz i'm into vulture culture but because i just think they're really cool :) what r ur thoughts on the little guys?

LOVE dermestid beetles!!!! i’ve always been fascinated by forensic entomology. i considered going into it professionally someday, for a while, but for both moral & trauma reasons, couldn’t stand the idea of having any contact at all with the police even if the job itself didn’t hurt people. in any case, i think the dermestid beetles are soooo so interesting, they’re very special lil bugs that do such an important job!!!!

Shimigami eyes should add a feature where you can label someone pink for girls who dont realize they’re girls yet. It would make the extension worse and almost certainly cause more drama
i think the hearts of anarchists are often in the right place and prior to more fully considering myself a communist i did once consider myself anarchist, but i think that the thing that actually fully shocked me out of it was watching every one of them routinely completely fail to address how medical care, medical supplies, and caring for the disabled & ill would work in their proposed future, which all led up to a particular conversation i remember so specifically in which someone asked someone i had followed what the plan was for medicine and sick people, only to be met with that former mutual mocking and belittling them, saying this doesn’t matter, and acting as if the discussion of disability and sickness was some kind of irrelevant “distraction” from anarchy. if your politics don’t account for the disabled, the ill, and those truly in need, then your politics are dangerous.
Consider: dragons holding their babies in their mouths like crocodiles. Maybe mouth brooding dragons (incubating eggs in their mouths) . Yknow with the fire breathing. Toasty in there
If the dragon is incubating eggs in its mouth it won’t be able to eat until the eggs hatch (unless it takes turns with another parent dragon) and now I’m thinking, like. Dragon activity cycles. “Boy the village sure hasn’t been raized in a while :)” and it’s because the nearest dragon is eggnant. After they hatch you now have More Dragons and they’re Really Hungry. Kind of like bears coming out of hibernation but worse
Following this it feels too obvious to have dragons hoarding shiny things as a courtship/nesting thing. Like several species of bird. But I don’t actually remember if I’ve seen that Done A Lot Already or not so we’re adding it to our dragon bio posting
Now, we can get more broad with “shiny things” than just treasure necessarily, especially if the dragons are Really Big. I think they should steal the stained glass windows out of churches. “Dragons like shiny things” would also be really unfortunate for knights
