From my own experience, I think that @supabase_io is more known alternative to Firebase and Medusa can (currently) be more popular as a Shopify alternative.
Not sure if someone mentioned it already but I am also happy to talk about it - and keep in mind that it is just my opinion. I highly recommend to check all these tools if you guys are looking for OS alternatives :)
