Groups API

Overview

The Groups API enables you to programmatically create groups for messaging and collaboration.

Groups API allows for more complex use cases than 1:1 messaging, expanding the way your business can operate using WhatsApp.

How it works

Groups are an invite-only experience. This means that Group participants join using a group invite link you send them. This link provides context about the group, helping the user decide whether they want to join.
