Hello Marc, I've contacted you via social media regarding the problem with compressing files. Specifically, if a file is already compressed, it cannot be compressed again.

Not working for me in safari M3 Max. Dragged a 1.3 gig file over. Shows the right info. trim, change compression (even tried twitter), click compress. It shows me the download button immediately and the file size is the same.

The video compression capabilities of this product exceeded my expectations. It managed to significantly reduce file sizes without compromising on video quality.

You can compress videos anytime, anywhere, ensuring complete privacy as your files are kept offline. Trim undesired segments by selecting the video's start and end points. I use this tool to shrink the size of my screen recording videos, making them easy to add to my landing page. Additionally, they load faster and consume less bandwidth.

Compress is a free, open-source tool that reduces video file size up to 90% offline with no quality loss.
