    Exponemos un trabajo cuyo desarrollo queda dividido en dos partes.

    En primer lugar, un gran inventario ordenadamente descriptivo (por CC.AA.

    y provincias) de los lugares donde han aparecido armas relacionadas con el ejército altoimperial de Roma en sus tres cuerpos: infantería, caballería y artillería. Además de relacionar sucintamente en su descripción y en cada uno de ellos, los objetos aparecidos motivo de nuestro interés. Finalmente, una reflexión historiográfica sobre el momento actual de los estudios acerca de este tema e históricamente en el encuadre del desarrollo evolutivo del armamento. Todo esto aderezado con una amplia recopilación bibliográfica final como soporte de investigación actual y futura.

    We present a paper divided in two parts. The first one is a large and ordered descriptive inventory (listed by autonomous communities and provinces) of the sites where weapons related to the High Imperial Army of Rome have been found according to its three combat branches: infantry, cavalry, and artillery. There is also a briefly noted description and, in each of them, the objects of interest found. The second one is a historiographical remark on the current situation of these studies and historically in the framework of the evolutionary development of the weaponry. All of this complemented by a wide final bibliographical collection to help current and future investigations.
