    The Archeomalacology in the Balearic Islands project is presented and the information that can be extracted from the remains of molluscs found in archaeological sites. Information, not only focused on the historical aspects or on the management of the resource by those societies, but also on the aspect of the demographic dynamics itself and on the paleoclimatic implications.
