Examinando la integración de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) en la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria para Personas Adultas (ESPA): un enfoque en los contenidos geográficos del Ámbito Social II en Andalucía

    Introducción: este artículo examina la integración de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) en la ESPA II y su vinculación con los contenidos geográficos dentro del Ámbito Social de nivel II. Este análisis ha permitido conocer el grado de integración de los ODS en dicha etapa de enseñanza y su relación con los contenidos geográficos dentro de la plataforma CREA.  Método: se plantea la siguiente pregunta ¿cómo se tratan los ODS en el Ámbito Social II de la ESPA II en Andalucía? Se realiza un análisis de contenido a través de una revisión exhaustiva de la normativa actual que rige el currículo y de los materiales que ofrece la propia administración educativa dentro del Ámbito Social II sobre los ODS en este nivel de enseñanza.  Resultados: se sintetizan los resultados en base al análisis de contenido del currículo vigente en la comunidad andaluza y se exploran los materiales aportados en la plataforma CREA para el Ámbito Social II y el peso que tienen los ODS en el nivel de la ESPA II. Se constata una presencia escasa y pobre en lo que respecta al tratamiento de los ODS y el no aprovechamiento de los contenidos geográficos.

    Conclusiones: la compilación de los resultados confirma que la ESPA II es clave para la consecución de los ODS. La geografía y la integración de los ODS ofrecen posibilidades educativas relevantes, tanto para el alumnado como para el profesorado, contribuyendo al logro de los ODS y a la formación de una ciudadanía global sostenible.

    Introduction: This article examines the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in ESPA II and their link with the geographic content within the Social Domain at level II. This analysis will reveal the degree of integration of the SDGs at this stage of education and their relationship with the geographic content within the CREA platform.  Method: The following question is posed: how are the SDGs dealt with in the Social Field II of ESPA II in Andalusia? An exhaustive review is carried out of the current regulations governing the curriculum and the materials offered by the educational administration itself within the Social Field II and its treatment of the SDGs at this level of education are examined.  Results: The results are synthesised on the basis of the analysis of the current curriculum in the Andalusian community and the contents provided on the CREA platform for the Social Field II and the weight of the SDGs at ESPA II level are explored. A scarce and poor presence is found with regard to the treatment of the SDGs and the non-exploitation of geographical contents.

    Conclusions: The compilation of the results confirms that ESPA II is key to the achievement of the SDGs. Geography and the integration of the SDGs offer interesting educational opportunities for both students and teachers, contributing to the achievement of the SDGs and the formation of sustainable global citizenship.
