Audiovisual resources are always appropriate to educate, as they are an attractive and dynamic way to capture the attention of the human being. Due to their characteristics, their duration being their greatest potential, short films are highly recommended for working with early ages and adolescents, since they allow us to present a complex scenario, situation or problem, but maintaining the motivation factor and of attention thanks to its short duration and ability to adapt a theme or issue to a short period of time. Cinema is a product of the creative capacity of the human being, omnipresent in our societies, but underused by the educational system. In 2020, the Galician Audiovisual Academy (AGA), aware of this problem and the growing demand from media teachers to educate with film, launched Fiestra, a digital platform to educate in values with Galician cinema and entrusts the design of the platform, the selection of the works and the design of the pedagogical intervention guides that accompany the films to members of the research group GI 1451 Terceira Xeración (TeXe) of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). This paper describes the process carried out for the pedagogical design of the platform.
