The contribution offers reflections on the development of teachers’ professional learning (Calvert, 2016) and on the project proposal of the Laboratory on linguistic education and communicative codes. The laboratory takes place within the specialization course for future support teachers. The reflections explore some aspects regarding: the development of teachers’ professional learning; the specialization path to support pupils with disabilities; the project proposal of the laboratory; the profile of the specialized teacher in an inclusive and value perspective. The intent is to question and reason on the planning and organization of the activities of the Language Education and Communication Codes Laboratory, trying to reflect on any limits and criticalities of the proposed methodologies and in relation to the strengths to be exploited for the purposes of continuous improvement. The reflections also concern the possible development trajectories of training courses in a perspective of inclusive policies and practices within which: the teacher and graduate teachers can co-construct an innovative learning setting and play active roles; their experience can be valued in an inclusive and value perspective of diffusion and contamination.
