Norwegian Black Metal. This is grounded in old school BM & done perfectly - this is not to say it is not replete with moments of modern style experimentation & inspiration! It is also surrounded in a gloomy & desolate & almost desperate atmosphere at times... :) I am loving it & I am loving every single song here! I would say it is one of their best albums in an already awesome discography! A discography that I hope to one day & with time complete... :) No faves! Highly recommended!!!
