Glass and Wood wave sculptures by Mario Ceroli. Italian artist Mario Ceroli created these two giant wave sculptures back in 1992. “Maestrale” is made of sea green cross-sections of glass. “La Vague” was crafted from sections of fir wood. According to the New York Times, 74-year old Ceroli “is one of the least known but most influential artists of the Italian post-war scene.”

My sculptures bring to light aspects of nature’s beauty that may be overlooked. Small sculptures are stitched to linen circles like specimens and can be installed as collections. Larger components are suspended to create aerial compositions that can command a space while concurrently feeling weightless and free-floating.
