mscherielouart: Tonight I watched this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0660Fuih7qo on “The Bean” method for the torso, turned on some cool jazz, and set http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/ to female model poses for a minute each, and tadaa torso practice! I feel a lot better after doing this exercise honestly, makes me understand the flow of the figure. Ik some look wonky but its a start! ^^

More of a simplified method to drawing the torso, other methods can be complicated and tricky but this universal method should assist on character and pose creation making it less complicated. The base shapes are simple just to get the pose down and then cylinder shapes for limbs and details can be added later. Hope it helps 😁✊🏾🤷🏾‍♂️
