We are proud to announce that CIS is now an authorised centre able to offer the International Award to our 14+ year old students. It is an internationally recognised programme which aims to provide a range of different opportunities for the personal development of young people. It adds significantly to their CVs when applying for universities. We start running the programme in January! — at Cambridge International School.

Something very exciting happened two weeks ago. My Bronze DofE badge and certificate arrived in the post! For anyone who hasn’t encountered DofE, it’s the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, done in three levels (Bronze, Silver & Gold) and stereotypically involves two to five days of walking in the rain over inhospitable territory like Dartmoor.
