As you know, custom-shaped Macarons require more nuances and attention in their making, so you will find some tips below:

* USE A TEMPLATE (you can always find a suitable picture on the Internet, print it on paper and put it under your silicone or teflon mat), this will help keep the same size and shape.
* CORRECT BATTER Mix the batter a little less than usual, so that it better holds the shape and volume of such macarons.
* USE DIFFERENT NOZZLE DIAMETERS I usually use a smaller diameter than the standard for custom-shaped Macarons, it’s ~ 0.5-0.7 mm (depending on your figure) to make it easier to shape.
* REST TIME custom-shaped Macarons need a little more rest time (add ~5min to your standard rest time)
