This winter, a warm southern breeze sails in as Brussels celebrates the Spanish Baroque painter Francisco de Zurbarán (1598-1664). Aimed at offering a retrospective, about 50 works organised thematically and chronologically adorn the elegant walls of BOZAR and give the visitor the opportunity to rediscover a gifted contemporary of Velázquez and Murillo.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
