Bilbo and Gandalf

Artist Cory Godbey's work can be seen in the award-winning comic anthology series Flight as well as as project for big publishers like Random House and Marvel. I'm sure I've seen his work before today but this is the first time I've really looked at it. And it's gorgeous. Here is a Tolkein painting I recently showed at the World Fantasy convention, where I was artist Guest of Honor. Sadly the painting was badly damaged in shipping and I'm not sure it can be repaired.
