One of the easiest techniques to learn for heatless curls. You’re simply wrapping your hair away from your face, around your curler. 

It creates a soft curl, similar to a curling iron.

TIPS:
- wrap straight back, not down or to the side. The higher you wrap, the more volume you’ll have. You can see what I mean by watching my first few wraps. 

- Not too tight! But not so loose that your hair falls out. This is where the velvet curler shines - it keeps your hair in place even when you error on the side of wrapping too loosely.
