Had an amazing opportunity to create procedural terrain materials for Pioneers of Pagonia by Envision Entertainment. Materials were made during early stages of development and showcased renders may not represent the final look in game. The process required a lot of research and multiple iterations per material. This is my take on Paul Trochu's Sanctuary, created for the Artstation Challenge: Untamed! When Animals Ruled the World. As I was working on this scene I wanted to put a bit more emphasize on the autumn feel and provided the scene with a optimistic tone. I imaged little frogs coming here, offering flowers to their lost king who is surrounded by his lost friends.
