We like to place a piece of paper (construction paper or cardstock works best but computer paper will work too)in a baking dish or tray to contain the mess. Use washable glue to create any design you want. Immediately after, pour table salt all over the paper, making sure to cover all glue. Shake off the excess salt (we save it for more salt art). Immediately after you shake off the excess, let your child paint by dipping a paintbrush into water and watercolor paint and tapping the top of the salt design. Continue gently tapping color onto the salt covered glue.
