.PAY registrations are subject to registry policies, registrar rules, trademark validation, TMCH/SMD requirements, domain availability, premium/reserved/blocked status, and applicable fees. Submission of an application does not guarantee registration.
.PAY may have additional restrictions during limited registration periods. Some registrations may require payment-related use or eligibility based on registry policy.
Premium, reserved, or blocked names may require manual review. Premium retail fees are billed separately from the service tier when applicable.
Refund policy. If the registration is unsuccessful for any reason (registered in an earlier phase, another registrar was faster, registry refused, name became reserved/blocked) we automatically credit 100% to your domain.pay balance — apply it to another .PAY domain or any name on NicNames.com. Prefer cash? Request an 80% refund to your original payment method instead. The 20% difference covers our processing, TMCH/SMD work, and submission attempts.
No concurrent applications. Once your payment for a .PAY name successfully completes, your application enters Pending status and the search marks the name as Reserved. We do not accept concurrent paid applications for the same name. Unpaid invoice requests and pending card authorizations do not reserve a name.
