Questions we get asked

Which sources can dltHub reach?

10,100+ REST API sources, plus any SQL database or filesystem. That includes the systems a GUI tool has no connector for: Oracle, SAP HANA and IBM DB2. Every source has a context page with its auth scheme, pagination, incremental cursor and rate limits already researched.

Where does our data end up?

In the warehouse you already run: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, ClickHouse and others. dltHub runs the pipeline, and the pipeline stays plain Python you can read, diff and own.

Do we have to replace our orchestrator?

No. Ingestion, transformation and data quality run on the same scheduler, so the orchestrator you were about to stand up is one you no longer need. If you already run Airflow or dbt, dltHub runs beside them and your DAG keeps driving incremental loads.

Where does it run, and who can reach our database?

You choose the EU or the US for the data and compute plane when you create a workspace, on GCP and AWS. Sandboxes reach a production database over a private link, so the database never needs a public IP. Credentials stay in your own vault and dltHub holds only a link to it.

What do the agents actually do?

The AI harness gives your coding agent the skills, commands and MCP tools to build, run and fix pipelines. The context graph grounds it in your own lineage, schemas, data quality and run state, so the agent works from what your platform actually does rather than guessing.

Can you help us migrate off Fivetran or Airbyte?

Yes. Tell us what you are moving off on the form and we will scope it on the call, including hand-written scripts.
