DJI has shared that Customs and Border Protection has been holding its drones from entering the US due to believed forced labor by Chinese Uyghurs. This may mean customers who purchased the recently released Air 3S could likely see delayed deliveries in the US.

Drones like DJI’s M300 RTK can get to places, quickly, that would take a person a long time to reach – and might also endanger that person’s safety. Some important news for those owning DJI Enterprise products: The company has announced life cycle status for its line, which includes some products reaching the end of the line.

As we reported earlier, DJI made the decision to make its Enterprise line of products available to purchase online directly from the company. It also recently issued another directive that further restricts options for authorized dealers trying to package products for their clients. Those two moves have thrown some of those dealers for a loop.

DJI is now offering to sell its Enterprise products – drones intended for industrial and First Responder applications – directly to customers. This is a change from the previous model, where sales could be made only through authorized Enterprise dealers. Not surprisingly, some dealers aren’t happy about it.

There’s a new member of DJI’s Enterprise line of drones. It’s the Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced, and it features a new 32X camera, a DJI-produced thermal sensor, and a Real-Time Kinematic module for centimeter-level accuracy.

At the INTERGEO Digital event today, DJI has launched two new two payloads aimed at aerial surveying, the Zenmuse L1 and Zenmuse P1. The two new payload options expand DJI’s reach into the commercial surveying, mapping, and real-world models industry.
