E-HRZN Records is excited to announce the debut of Berlin-based K-H1 on the label with his “Shapeshifter EP,” which includes five brilliant original tracks alongside first-class remixes by Kevin Ferhati and Uväll.

K-H1’s original tracks offer a diverse soundscape which oscillate between dark, vibrant, and cinematic themes underpinned by heavy, driving, and hypnotic grooves. Each single has its own identity, yet they remain connected by a shared sense of forward momentum and a constant, unyielding rhythm, encapsulating his dynamic range as a producer.

The album unfolds in steady progression with a strong emphasis on constantly evolving textures, atmospheres, and rhythms. In tracks such as “Twirling in the Distance” and “Callisto,” K-H1 devises lush, spellbinding soundscapes which both take deep dives into realms of sonic and rhythmic exploration while always retaining a dancefloor ready feel.

Meanwhile, “Shapeshifter” and “His Soul is Lightning” are direct crowd-galvanizers which briefly transmute the producer’s approach, as he weaves together razor-sharp synths with authentic, raw, grooves and subtle vocal cuts in the latter, to introduce both energy and beauty within the powerfully charged compositions. Finally, K-H1’s meticulous attention to detail blends with a strong vision for storytelling through sound resulting in a captivating, stand-alone excursion in “The Judge.”

Both hand-selected remixers contribute brilliant adaptations with a unique approach to give the release a dynamic range of sounds. Uväll presents a captivating rework focused on deep, muscular rhythms and grooves while Kevin Ferhati delivers a fearless remix resplendent with though-provoking, intricate textures and mesmerizing soundscapes, all with a prioritization on the dancefloor.
