What does the free plan cover?

Free covers public repos with up to 10 analyses per month and 200 commits per run. You get issue-comment triggered PRs, core and developer install profiles, and community support. No credit card, no time limit.

What does Pro unlock?

Pro is the self-serve GitHub App tier for developers and small-team pilots. It unlocks private repo analysis, PR-triggered config audits, AgentShield-backed scanning, auto-triggers on large pushes, and self-serve billing management. It is priced at $19 per active developer seat monthly or $190 yearly on the connected installation, with pooled usage and optional metered overage, not as an organization-wide enterprise contract.

How do seats work for GitHub organizations?

Seats are purchased for the connected GitHub installation. Most people should start with one seat and let the install prove the workflow. If the installation already covers multiple active developers, open the optional team settings in checkout and set a higher starting seat count there.

What happens if we need more analyses than our seats include?

Included usage scales with the seats on your installation. If your team is likely to exceed the included capacity, we can enable metered overage for higher-volume workspaces without changing the plan shape.

How is Enterprise billed?

Enterprise is scoped directly with organizations instead of being advertised as a fixed self-serve seat tier. Pricing depends on rollout scope, governance needs, procurement expectations, support model, and whether you need broader org activation beyond a small team pilot. Is my code stored?

No. We analyze commit history and sample file contents in-memory during analysis. Code is never permanently stored. Only the generated SKILL.md exists in your PR. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Does the open-source install stay free?

Yes. The OSS install, repo docs, skills, hooks, agents, and learning system remain free. Paid plans are for automation, private-repo workflows, and organization-grade controls layered on top.

Where do I get support or talk to other ECC users?

Join the ECC Discord community for setup help, workflow questions, and release announcements. Pro subscribers get priority support there and over email, and the OSS repo discussions stay open to everyone.

I already paid, but I wiped my local setup. Do I need to buy Pro again?

No. Use /account with the same billing email to open the existing portal session, then reinstall ECC on the same GitHub account or organization. Buying again is only for a new installation or a different organization, so this path avoids duplicate charges on the same subscription.
