Edward D. Wood Jr.: A Man and His Films (1981) is a self-published chapbook by two California-based megafans, Randy Simon and Harold Benjamin. It predates all the full-length books about Wood.

In 2026, a memorabilia dealer offered some rare Ed Wood materials on eBay for a mere quarter of a million dollars. It includes a copy of Ed’s Hollywood Rat Race and some interviews recorded on cassette. Before this material vanishes forever, I thought I’d record it here.
