Smekermann I’ve been listening to this album since it came out (posting in May 2023), and I think I just have to come out and say it: this is a future krautrock classic, imho. It mixes Kraftwerk’s Mensch Maschine aesthetic and approach, with robot vox throughout, but also mixes in a healthy dose of hard-edged motorik post-punk, electronic disco anthems, and a guitar tone that has a surprising bite to it. It’s just kind of an incredible album, from the songwriting to the sound and the imagery. Flawless. Favorite track: Regit Etarak.

Einseinseins Zwei ist der Herzschlag der digitalen Globalisierung.
Ein Strom der sich dem Immer Gleichen entgegen setzt.
Das Opium für die Gesellschaft, deren Leben sich aus Einsen und Nullen konstruiert.

Einseinseins haben auf diesem Album ihre Stimmen entdeckt. Sie nutzen den Pop als Instrument der kritischen Betrachtung. Das Album weckt eine zwanghafte Begehrlichkeit des Einen, der Zwei. Sie sind sich nie zu schade große Melodien zu verwenden, die energetisch in die Welt geschmissen werden.

Das Album bewegt sich außerhalb des Konzeptes von Genres. Ein Begriff der von Einseinseins bewusst missverstanden wird. Kein Stück gleicht dem anderen und doch ist alles Eins.
“Graf Zahl” leitet die Reise ein. Ein Gefühl von Aufbruch kommt auf. “Plastik Liebe” holt “Das Model” ins 21. Jahrhundert.
“Gasetagenheizung” und “Regit Etarak” fordern heraus. Ein passives zuhören wird unmöglich.
“Nachtigall” und “Nur Fuchs” lösen die Spannung und fangen den Hörenden wie Sirenen ein.
Am Ende kommt wieder ein Anfang.
